On March 30th we hosted an event together with the AIA Hong Kong Chapter. The theme of the evening was Sustainable Acoustic Panels and Your Health, and the event combined knowledge with drinks and canapés. Speaker for the night was Mr. Kent Vium Pedersen, export manager at Troldtekt with 18-year experience in acoustics and sustainable indoor environment of buildings.
With acoustics, environment and health in his mind Kent entered the stage in front of an excited crowd. Throughout the talk he touched many important points of the core subject and he rounded things off by highlighting that the responsibility for our future well being lies in the hands of our architects and designers around the world. Kent therefore shared the important and convenient tool Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) with the participants, which simplipies the product comparison process.
Before the guests and Kent himself turned to drinks and canapés, an inspiring Q&A session almost turned into one big group discussion. Relevant and important questions were raised and Kent’s solid answers rounded the evening off nicely.
